Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time: The Eye of the World #28

Rand Al'Thor was just trying to get a look at Logain without being noticed himself, and took a spill into a garden where he meets a young sister and brother - Elayne and Gawyn. After Elayne tends to Rand's wounds, he discovers that she is the daughter to the queen, and heir to the throne - not the most inconspicuous of moves on Rand's part.
